This Privacy Policy describes how Nord 360 ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application (the "App").

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

• Email Addresses: When you use the data breach monitoring feature, you provide email addresses to be checked against known data breaches.
• API Keys: If you configure a Have I Been Pwned API key for enhanced breach details, it is stored locally on your device.
• Settings & Preferences: Your in-app preferences and configuration choices.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Wi-Fi Information: When using the Wi-Fi security feature, we access your current Wi-Fi network's SSID (name) and BSSID to assess security risk. This information is processed locally and is not transmitted to our servers.
• SMS Messages: When using SMS filtering, message content is processed locally on your device to identify spam. Messages are not uploaded or stored externally.
• URLs: URLs you submit for safety checking are compared against local threat databases.
• Device Information: Basic device information such as OS version for compatibility purposes.

1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect personal identifiers such as your name, phone number, or physical address.
• We do not access your contacts, photos, location, or other personal data without explicit permission.
• We do not collect browsing history, app usage data, or analytics.

2. How We Use Your Information

All data processing occurs locally on your device. We use the information we access to:

• Analyze Wi-Fi network security and provide risk assessments
• Check email addresses against known data breaches via the Have I Been Pwned API
• Detect and filter spam SMS messages
• Verify the safety of URLs and links
• Provide caller identification and spam call detection
• Calculate your overall security score

When checking emails against breach databases, your email address is sent to the Have I Been Pwned service using k-anonymity (range-based API queries that do not reveal the full email address). If you have configured an API key, additional breach details may be fetched.

3. Data Storage and Security

• All data is stored locally on your device using secure storage mechanisms including iOS Keychain for sensitive data and local databases.
• Wi-Fi scan records, breach check results, call records, and security settings are stored only on your device.
• We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information.
• We do not operate backend servers that collect or store your personal data.

4. Third-Party Services

Nord 360 integrates with the following third-party services:

• Have I Been Pwned (HIBP): Used for data breach checking. Emails are checked using k-anonymity (only the first 5 characters of the SHA-1 hash are sent). See HIBP's privacy policy for more details.
• Apple In-App Purchase: Used for processing premium subscription payments. Payment information is handled entirely by Apple and is subject to Apple's privacy policy.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

5. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

• Access Your Data: All your data is stored locally on your device and accessible through the App.
• Delete Your Data: You can delete your data at any time by clearing app data or uninstalling the App.
• Control Permissions: You can manage the App's permissions through your device's Settings app at any time.
• Opt Out: You can disable any feature that you do not wish to use.

6. Children's Privacy

Nord 360 is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us so we can promptly remove it.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
